Following the success of Heroes Rising, My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission is the franchise’s third film chapter. It represents a dramatic departure in the series’ plot, putting Deku in the perilous position of being depicted as a villain.
A secret terrorist organization known as the Humanize is introduced in the movie. They are adamant supporters of the “Quirk Singularity Doomsday Theory.” According to their belief, when future generations continue to mingle with the Quirk DNA, the power they possess would lead to humanity’s doom. Furthermore, Humanize regards Quirks as a disease and intends to “clear the earth” by exterminating anybody who possesses one.
Humanize installed “Ideo Trigger Bombs” in several nations. These bombs are supposed to cause a Quirk-user to lose control of their Quirk, resulting in widespread devastation. To defend and safeguard everyone, Pro-Heroes from throughout the world join forces with U.A. Academy heroes-in-training to foil the mystery group’s plans.
The film intends to expand on the My Hero Academia universe by featuring an international squad of heroes. New gear and clothing for the main three were also featured. On the shoulders of Midoriya, Bakugo, and Todoroki’s stealth suits is an embroidered symbol with the letters “W.H.A,” which most likely means “World Hero Association.” With the expected arrival of heroes and villains from all over the world, this appears to be MHA’s most expansive film yet, reaching out beyond Japan.
