My Unique Skills Makes Me OP Even at Level 1 anime announced

The My Unique Skills Makes Me OP Even at Level 1 light novel series will be getting an anime TV adaptation. This announcement was made on May 5, 2022. 

The fantasy isekai is written by Nazuna Miki and illustrated by Subachi. The light novel series also has a manga adaptation illustrated by Mawata.

The artist of the light novels and manga of My Unique Skill Makes Me OP Even at Level 1, Subachi and Mawata shared illustrations to promote the news of the upcoming anime series. 

The light novel series have been in publication since 2017. The author of the novels, Nazuna Miki first self-published them in February 2017 on a website called Shousetsuka ni Narou.

However, it was later on launched in September 2017 in Kodansha’s Ranobe Books imprint.

The series currently has seven book volumes, with the seventh launching in Japan in November 2019. The light novels series are licensed by Kodansha comics who are also credited for licensing the manga adaptation. 

The manga adaptation by Mawata has eight book volumes with the ninth set to launch on May 9, 2022.

The manga debuted on Kodansha’s website called ‘ Suiyōbi no Sirius‘ on the 8th of May 2018. Kodansha US also licensed the English version of the manga. 

This fantasy and adventure isekai follows the story of Ryoto Sato. He is transported into another world where he soon discovers his peculiar ability to transport objects as loot drops from earth whenever he battles and defeats a monster in this new magical world.

Kodansha describes the plot as follows: 

“Ryota Sato gets the surprise of his life when he’s suddenly transported into another world and nearly clobbered at the hands of the young, pretty adventurer Emily Brown. This new world revolves around defeating monsters and profiting on whatever they drop—food, money, items, etc. Unfortunately for Ryota, he has no skills to speak of…until he learns he has the ability to get rare drops! Suddenly his luck turns around…or does it?”

Fans of the light novels and manga of My Unique Skills Makes Me OP Even at Level 1 are excited about the upcoming anime tv adaptation.

The author Miki assures that the anime will meet the viewers’ expectations.

He comments that: 

“Because of your continued support on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website, we were able to publish the first volume of the novel in book form.

Because of everyone’s strong support after the book was published, we were able to make the first manga version of the book. The manga was even more strongly supported by everyone, so we were able to make our first anime.
